GUIDE

Start with a list of what someone would need to find.

A digital estate organization checklist names what you own, what you owe, which documents matter, and who should be able to find them. ForeverVault is the vault for documents, wallet items, and digital assets. On a Paid plan, ForeverBinder is a separate structured multipage report you create from information you enter. It organizes property, accounts, insurance, debts, legal documents, contacts, and instructions. It is not a will, a trust, or any other legal instrument. Creating or updating that report does not send it or release it.

What to put on the list

Property and accounts

Write down homes, vehicles, and other property, and where the deed or title is kept. Add bank, retirement, and investment accounts with the institution name.

Insurance and debts

List insurers, policy numbers, loans, and other debts, plus a phone number that still works. The goal is that a person you choose can find the current information without searching the house.

Documents and people

Include wills, powers of attorney, and healthcare directions you already have, and the contacts who may need them. Recipients can be family, someone you trust, or legal counsel. An attorney is optional.

Where each part belongs

The vault

Store documents in ForeverVault. Documents added through the website and the Android app are encrypted on your device before upload. Documents added through the iPhone app are protected in transit and encrypted by ForeverVault before storage.

Wallet and ForeverBinder

Cards, IDs, and logins sit in Wallet behind a separate 6-digit PIN. Free includes three Wallet items. Paid plans remove that cap and add ForeverBinder.

Who can open what

You choose a recipient and a timing for each share. A Trusted Contact is a different role from a single share.

Keep the list current

After life changes

Review the checklist after a move, a marriage, a divorce, a new child, or a change in who should inherit or who can act for you.

Inactivity is not delivery

A period without signing in does not release a document, send ForeverBinder, or establish that you have died. On an eligible Paid plan, an updated ForeverBinder may be built after prolonged inactivity. Building it does not send or release it, and it does not notify anyone by itself.

Free, then Paid if you need more

Free includes three Vault items, 500 MB of storage, a Wallet for three cards, IDs, or logins, sharing, and Trusted Contact designation.

ForeverVault stores and organizes information. It does not provide legal, tax, or financial advice, and it does not create wills or other legal documents.
