The problem behind ForeverVault
Andres Montejo encountered a recurring problem in legal practice: people completed important documents, but their families often did not know what existed, where it was stored, or whom to contact when something happened.

Andres Montejo, founder
Andres is a Florida attorney admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of the United States. He holds a Juris Doctor and has educational backgrounds in computer programming and business administration.
Through years of legal practice, he saw that completing documents did not solve the entire problem. Families still needed to know where the documents were, what other information existed, and whom to contact. ForeverVault was created to help close that gap.

How your information is protected
- On the website and in the Android app, documents are encrypted on your device before they are uploaded. Documents added in the iPhone app are sent to ForeverVault and encrypted there before they are stored.
- ForeverVault does not use stored documents for advertising or AI-model training.
- Standard accounts use a recovery model that permits password recovery and authorized delivery features.
- Recovery-key use is restricted and logged.
- Optional Total Privacy deletes the live recovery key, so a forgotten password will not restore Vault access while it is on. Sharing then works only with another ForeverVault account, because ForeverVault does not keep a key that opens those shares. If you turn this on after a recovery key already existed, an older backup may still contain that earlier key until it is destroyed.
