Give a paper to the right person, at the right time. You pick one file and one person. They get it today, on a day you choose, or only after you are gone. This is not ForeverBinder. That is the whole packet.

The four ways
In the vault the buttons still say Share, Delayed Share, Legacy Share, and Trusted Contact. Here is what those words mean.
DELAYED SHARE
Send it later
You pick a date, or a stretch of time you have been quiet. ForeverVault holds the file until then. You can cancel before it goes.
Example. A letter that should arrive on a birthday. Or instructions that wait 90 days so you can change your mind.
LEGACY SHARE
When you are gone
They do not get the file while you are here. They request it and affirm that you have passed. We email you. If you do not stop it in 3 days, the file opens.
Example. The will, a letter to family, or where the deed is. One file. One person. Not the whole estate packet.
TRUSTED CONTACT
Someone with the keys
This is not one file. A Trusted Contact can open everything in your vault. Name someone you would hand the house keys to.
Example. A spouse, or the child who already handles the bills. If you only want one paper to go out, use a share instead.
What this is not
- It is not emailing the file in the open. The person gets a ForeverVault link.
- It is not ForeverBinder. ForeverBinder is the whole file family and attorney open. See ForeverBinder.
- It is not blockchain proof. That records a fingerprint of a file. It does not deliver the file. See blockchain proof.
- It is not a court process. A share does not prove a will is valid.
Store the will. Name who should see it.
